THE SYMBOL
This symbol is called a Splec-C. It is a segment of our brand logo and is used throughout our collections.
The pick-like shape conveys the essence of our brand: loud guitars and rock ‘n’ roll music.
THE PRODUCTION
Every single SPLECTRUM watch is conceived and designed in France, with the movement and key finishing elements sourced from Switzerland.
From there, Germany takes over for assembly, movement adjustment, inspections including visual examination and water resistance testing, as well as after-sales service.
We’re proud that our watches carry the trusted ‘Made in Germany’ inscription, your reassurance of precision, accuracy, reliability and performance.

THE STORY OF ROCK
Rock music didn’t appear overnight, and it wasn’t invented by a single musician.
In fact, its roots go right back to the late 1940s and early 1950s in the United States. This exciting new sound was born from blending African-American rhythm and blues, called R&B, with gospel and country music.
The pioneers were Fats Domino, Chuck Berry, Little Richard and more who created a new music with driving, guitar-heavy beats. The term rock and roll was made popular in 1951 by Cleveland radio DJ Alan Freed. This was soon shortened to rock ‘n’ roll!
In the mid-1960s, the British invasion took place in the States and bands like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones took American rock ‘n’ roll and made it their own. The music then evolved into a broader international style which was taken up by musicians around the world. This became known as rock.
Rock then spawned many different sub-genres including the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, which gave rise to huge rock bands like Judas Priest, Motorhead, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden and many more.
Whether it’s rock ‘n’ roll or rock it’s all music with a great spirit, which we’ve honoured and captured in our range of SPLECTRUM watches.
